The staff here were awesome - super friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had a great time. Oh, and it was just a 5-minute walk to downtown! 🌟

The stay here was very special for $160 a night. It was an exceptionally nice and prime location for us, close enough to Historic Kirtland. Very close to many restaurants. The staff were all helpful. The room was reasonably priced and pet-friendly with double beds.

Suite I stayed at was well priced and good-sized with a tv.

We enjoyed its complimentary and nice hot breakfasts!

Overall had extra special stay whether on a road trip or vacation. We were in an absolutely perfect and exceptionally nice location near a crossroads and several local attractions and the Pub for a drink. Dined at Mama Roberto's Pizza, it was a 10-15 minute walk from the venue.

We would definitely return here when visiting Mentor. We truly enjoyed the room, it was large. 5 mins walk to the center. They have an on-site restaurant called Skye Bistro.

It is very central in Mentor. The breakfast was what we expected by American standards. Very friendly staff.

The room surprised us with its size and cleanliness. The staff provided excellent service, going above and beyond to offer information. The breakfast buffet was good, with China and metal silverware. The hotel had a nice porch at the entrance. The room had quaint windows that could be opened instead of relying on a/c.

Great place,only downside was there on Sunday and restaurant was closed.

We enjoyed the staff because they were all very pleasant, friendly, courteous and helpful. I cannot say enough good things about the staff and the way were were treated. When we called the main desk to report a problem, someone came up immediately to see to the issue. The continental breakfast was superlative, and, again the staff there was extremely friendly and helpful. The overall environment was pleasant, especially the lounge and the breakfast room.

We did run into a couple of issues that could have been avoided. 1. First of all, we made our reservation online for a stay of only one night, and we received a confirmation verifying that fact. When we arrived, we found that the reservation was for 2 nights even though we had documentation stating otherwise. I brought this tot the attention of the staff at the registration desk who had no explanation, but stated there was no real issue. When we arrived back home and received a confirmation of the charges for our stay, our credit card had been charged for $294 when the total bill for the one night amounted to $159 plus tax. The receipt I received upon checking out also showed the $159 plus tax amount, not $294. We are currently waiting for our credit company's verification that the charge has been posted before we are able to pursue a challenge to the charge. 2. When we arrived at our room for the first time we soon found that the toilet would not flush properly and came close to overflowing. I called the front desk and a pleasant young man came up immediately to plunge the toilet. The issue improved slightly, and we were informed that maintenance would need to resolve the issue properly and completely. We had no criticism regarding the attempt to resolve the issue, but I would suggest that the housekeeping staff should double check the toilet operation whenever someone checks out in order to prevent newly arriving customers from finding a problem with the plumbing. I don't know if it was possible at the time, and I did not ask (my fault) but we should have moved to another room, if one was available - that option should have been offered. As it was, we stayed in the room and often found it necessary to use the facilities in other parts of the hotel.

We got great value for our money at Best Western. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff treated us like royalty.

The breakfast menu could have been better with more variety, like pancakes instead of just waffles.
